VIRGO is developed by the research group of T. M. Murali in the Department of Computer Science at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Naveed Massjouni is the primary developer. Corban Rivera developed an initial prototype of VIRGO in Fall 2004. Simon Kasif suggested the development of VIRGO.

VIRGO has been beta-tested by Konstantinos Krampis, Harsha Rajasimha, Pallavi Sharma, Miguel Colon-Velez, Lachelle Waller, and Andrew Warren, Ph.D. students in the Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology Program at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

If you have any questions about or suggestions on VIRGO, please contact T. M. Murali (murali AT cs DOT vt DOT edu).
